The Spice Tin respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).
We collect the details you give us when you place an order, create an account, subscribe to our newsletter or contact us: your name, email address, phone number and delivery address.
We use your information to process and deliver orders, answer your questions, manage your account and, if you agree, send you recipes and news from Fatima’s kitchen.
We process your information to fulfil our contract with you, to meet our legal obligations, and with your consent for marketing emails, which you can withdraw at any time.
We only share the details needed with trusted partners who help us run the shop, such as couriers and payment providers. We never sell your personal information.
Card details are entered directly with our payment provider over a secure connection. We do not see or store your full card number.
Our website uses cookies to keep your cart working, remember your login and understand how visitors use the site. You can turn cookies off in your browser, but some features may stop working.
If you subscribe, we will send you recipes, cooking class dates and book news. Every email has an unsubscribe link.
We keep order records for five years to meet tax requirements. Other information is deleted when it is no longer needed or when you ask us to delete it.
Under POPIA you may ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, and object to how we use it. You may also complain to the Information Regulator.
